Cedric The Entertainer Plans to Make 2021 Emmy Awards A Party as Host

Cedric The Entertainer rocks a snazzy blue suit at the 2021 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 19) at The Event Deck at L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

The 57-year-old actor was joined by his wife, Lorna Wells, on the red carpet ahead of hosting the award show.

“Television got us through this last year,” Cedric shared with CBSN ahead of his hosting duties about what he he planned. “Everybody started binge-watching everything. And it was something we trusted, and so I think that that’s what we should honor this night.”

He added, “I want to have fun with the people who are there, being celebrated, being honored, all those who are being nominated — we just going to make it a party, and I want the people at home to feel the same way about it.”
