Bonnie Tyler has revealed that an operation on her vocal chords led to her developing the husky voice she's known for.

The iconic Welsh singer, 72, told The Mirror that she underwent the removal of nodules on her vocal chords in the 1970s and accidentally screamed while in recovery, which permanently affected the sound of her voice.
