Bec Judd shares flirty anniversary tribute to AFL star husband

The reigning power couple of Australian footy are celebrating yet another relationship milestone.

Chris and Bec Judd are marking 15 years of marriage – with Bec penning a flirty tribute to her long-time love for the occasion.

The much-loved model and television personality kept things short and sweet in a heartfelt Instagram post, sharing a series of snaps from the couple's more than 20-year-long relationship.

"15 years married today and 22 years with you," began the post.

Bec went on to make a playful jab at Chris' aversion to public displays of affection, saying "I've got so much more to say about my King of Kings but he's not big on PDAs,"

"So I will tell him to his face when I am kissing it," she finished, adding a series of flirty emojis.

The couple first rose to prominence at the 2004 Brownlow Awards – when Chris won his first Brownlow Medal and Bec stunned Australia in her iconic red Ruth Tarvydas gown.

The bejewelled, barely-there back and scooping neckline secured Bec celebrity status overnight, and the powerhouse personality has gone from strength to strength alongside her AFL icon husband ever since.

Bec (known then as Rebecca Twigley) and Chris first met in the early-2000s in Perth, when they were both on the cusp of adulthood.

Then aged 19, Bec was enjoying a boozy Sunday session at Cottesloe Pub in 2002 when she locked eyes on her husband-to-be, who had just started playing professionally.

In an Instagram Q+A with fans, the model and TV presenter recalled "vivid memories" of their first encounter.

"It's weird, I didn't really have lots of boyfriends growing up and I was very, very, very picky and I saw him and I was like 'Damn! I like him'," Bec told her followers.

"I was a bit drunk, I'd had a load of red wine so I was quite confident because I didn't really used to be confident with guys."

The rest was history. The pair now share four children; Oscar, 14, Billie, 11, and twins Darcy and Tom, 9.

The pair remain prominent figures in Aussie media to this day. Bec's latest venture, podcast Vain-Ish, puts a spotlight on beauty, wellness and cosmetic treatments.

Chris branched into finance post-retirement, founding the Cerutty Macro Fund in 2023.
