Alanis Morissette Releases Statement After Dropping Out of Hall of Fame Performance with Olivia Rodrigo

Alanis Morissette was scheduled to perform at the 2022 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony over the weekend, but she dropped out at the last minute.

The beloved music star was going to perform a duet of “You’re So Vain” with Olivia Rodrigo, who she has actually performed with in the past.

Variety reports that Alanis showed up for rehearsals on Friday, but dropped out of the performance ahead of the Saturday show.

In a post on her Instagram account on Monday (November 7), Alanis explained why she decided not to appear at the show and hinted at sexism.
